Today we are thankful for a future we are looking forward to and are ready for. We mentioned it yesterday, so today is a bit of an extension of that. When the grips of a bad depressive state are on us, the idea of a future is nearly non existent. We struggle to look forward to the next minute, the idea of the next year seems impossible. So, we are thankful that this year, we are in a place where the future we see, is a bright and happy one.

Today we are thankful for our greatest temptation, Troy. We had thought about saving Troy for Thanksgiving Day, but just like any other temptation we simply could not resist. Our lives have been changed in so many ways for the better over the past nearly 5 years, that we can not even begin to list them all here, nor do we need to, because he already knows all of them. He will be the very first to tell you that he never did anything, and he is right, we did all the work, but it was with his love and support that we felt safe enough to do that work. we are stronger now than we have ever been, and that is not an exaggeration. the love we all share is the most healing and secure love we have ever known.

Two of the most vital tools in any healthy relationship are sacrifice and compromise. There are many other important parts as well, but today we are going to talk about these two.
Sacrifice : an act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy.
Compromise : an agreement or a settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions.
During the course of a long term relationship, there will be times where both are not just needed, but required. While it is always best to try and compromise, to find a solution that both sides can agree with, not all situations have a middle ground. That is when one side must sacrifice for the sake of the greater good.
Our relationships with Troy, have all involved a bit of both over the past nearly 5 years, and will involve greater sacrifices in future for us to have the life together that we both want. Since Troy is in the UK and we are in the USA, there is no way to compromise on a middle ground, because we can not live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, so one of us is going to have to sacrifice our current country in order to be together.
The important thing to consider with sacrifice, is that in a healthy relationship both sides make them equally. The same goes for compromises, both sides have to give as much as they take, for the scales to balance out.

When it comes to spiders, we have an agreement with the them at our house. They are perfectly welcome to live outside as nature intended, but if they choose to come inside, we have every right to kill them. Troy is not a fan of the 8 legged crawlies, but tends to catch and release and not kill. Our SL brother Thanatos, has tarantula’s in RL that we enjoy seeing pictures of, they really are pretty if you take the time to look at them without being creeped out by them.

We grew up living across the street from our local cemetery, and our best friend lived on the same street as we did. When we were still too young to walk to the playground, the graveyard became our playground. We played ghost in the graveyard, in the graveyard. We played tag, hide and seek, flew kites, blew bubbles and had picnics. We always ran around grave sites, never over them, because that was disrespectful. It was a healthy relationship with the dead, and so the spooky ghost stories, never really spooked us.

One of my favorite items to play with for this post, is one that you can not see itself in the above photo, but one that is very present. It is the Posejector 2 from Image Photography.
We all have our favorite photography tools and pose huds or stands, I know that I do, or did. The Posejector 2 is packed full of features including being a pose HUD and a lighting system all in one. It not only allows you to pose and light yourself, but others in the scene as well, all from one HUD. I have posed both Troy and myself in this photo using one HUD, as well as set the lighting.
As with any new tool, there is a learning curve. The basic use and setup is fairly straight forward if you are used to working with other pose or lighting systems, it just takes some fiddling and playing with it to get used to this HUD’s specific tools and locations of what you want to do. I will for sure be using it on many photos in the future and can not wait to see what else it is capable of.

It’s BOOBtober ! That is right, the month of October is not only home of Halloween, but it is Breast Cancer Awareness month too! I am privileged and honored to be a part of two amazing boob events this month. Today is the opening of the Out Shop Cancer event. I really can not begin to explain to you all just how much I laughed when the very idea of this picture entered my creative planning, but I can tell you that I chuckled about it the entire way through , till even now. When I first showed Troy the background and poses that Something New had created for the PosEvent, his said something along the lines of shooting it as a Super Hero, since DiD is our super power. This on its own, was a fantastic idea, and so while he went to bed, I sent about putting together something Super Hero-ish.
Now at this point, my brain remembered that I had seen the oh so perfect for this photo Kinky Wars Cocksaber’s from Short Leash, and then things truly started coming together. LooKatMe fulfilled the sexy garter needs of both hero’s with Mable Lace and Tam Latex. You can see the final result of all the creatively flowing juices that our brain provides, and oh they are some kinky juices !
