Two of the most vital tools in any healthy relationship are sacrifice and compromise. There are many other important parts as well, but today we are going to talk about these two.

Sacrifice : an act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy.

Compromise : an agreement or a settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions.

During the course of a long term relationship, there will be times where both are not just needed, but required. While it is always best to try and compromise, to find a solution that both sides can agree with, not all situations have a middle ground. That is when one side must sacrifice for the sake of the greater good.

Our relationships with Troy, have all involved a bit of both over the past nearly 5 years, and will involve greater sacrifices in future for us to have the life together that we both want. Since Troy is in the UK and we are in the USA, there is no way to compromise on a middle ground, because we can not live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, so one of us is going to have to sacrifice our current country in order to be together.

The important thing to consider with sacrifice, is that in a healthy relationship both sides make them equally. The same goes for compromises, both sides have to give as much as they take, for the scales to balance out.

Calling us a kinky witch, would be quite the understatement. It also makes me chuckle remembering a conversation had one night at a live music show, tho I can not quite remember which one, there have been so many. The debate of the night was the difference between a kink and a fetish. This is something that tends to get blurry, and sadly too many people think that the two are interchangeable.

The simple explanation is that while a fetish can be a kink, not all kinks are fetishes. Another way to look at it, is that a kink is a want, and a fetish is a need. Becoming aroused by your girlfriend wearing stockings and heels is a kink. Not being able to become aroused unless she is wearing them, is a fetish.

So the next time you are wondering if that perverted little idea makes you kinky or a fetishist, just ask yourself if you can get off without it. If you enjoy it, but can get off just fine without it, you are kinky. If you can not even think about getting in the mood without it, you my friend, have a full fledged fetish !

Today is the 7th of the month and that means it is time for a new round of Unik !

Two Moon Gardens brings you this spectacular Rambling Retreat complete with picnic table with basket and wine plus falling leaves to set the mood just right for your autumn picnics.

This adorable Citrouille pose set from PiXit includes 8 poses plus mirror versions, as well as pumpkins galore for holding as well as decor.

One of my favorite items to play with for this post, is one that you can not see itself in the above photo, but one that is very present. It is the Posejector 2 from Image Photography.

We all have our favorite photography tools and pose huds or stands, I know that I do, or did. The Posejector 2 is packed full of features including being a pose HUD and a lighting system all in one. It not only allows you to pose and light yourself, but others in the scene as well, all from one HUD. I have posed both Troy and myself in this photo using one HUD, as well as set the lighting.

As with any new tool, there is a learning curve. The basic use and setup is fairly straight forward if you are used to working with other pose or lighting systems, it just takes some fiddling and playing with it to get used to this HUD’s specific tools and locations of what you want to do. I will for sure be using it on many photos in the future and can not wait to see what else it is capable of.

Religion is one of those topics, that we tend to avoid talking about, but once we do, we ramble quite a bit. We fully support each and every single person on this planet’s right to choose their own belief system, and to practice that religion, provided that it does not involve doing harm to others. As the quote above says, you are perfectly welcome to be proud of your penis, but that does not give you the right to wag it in someone else’s face.

Personally, we are not fans of organized religion, as a whole. We consider ourselves spiritual but not religious. We believe that there is a higher power, and refer to it in general, as God, and male, because it is just easier. We believe that there was a man back in the day, named Jesus, who was that age’s version of a Mother Theresa, but not so much that he was the son of God in the way that the bible likes to tell it. We also generally believe that “God” is universal, and no matter what the religion, it all comes back to the same being, who just happens to get called different things based on cultural and geographic traditions.

We believe that God gave us all free will, and that he does not take that away when we die.

Want to hang out in heaven for a while and just chill? Sure !

Want to go back to earth and wander around? Great, ghost it is !
